P7MJ's Cracked Minecraft `1.14.4`, ready-to-go without requiring an internet connection or further downloads.
P7MJ MODIFIED EDITION, 2026/1/7. ORIGINAL VERSION RETRIEVED FROM PART OF QUESTTRECK'S MINECRAFT PORTABLE ON 2026/1/7.
<h3>Quick Start</h3>
DIRECTIONS: Unzip and open "Client.bat" or "Client (OptiFine HD F2 Ultra).bat" within "Minecraft 1.14.4 Portable". Shaders are only available on the OptiFine client.
Minecraft 1.14.4, pre-configured and ready to run offline and without hassles.
To change nickname change nick.txt

ORIGINAL DIRECTIONS BY ORIGINAL AUTHOR (If you encounter problems try this)
`Client (OptiFine HD F2 Ultra).bat` for better performance and resourcepack/shader support.
To play game, go inside the 'Minecraft 1.14.4 Portable' folder, run 'Client'
To change your player name (nickname), double-click `nick.txt` and replace `Steve` with your username, and save the file.
If you get any missing dll errors, go inside the _Redist folder and install 'dxwebsetup'
<h3>Running a server</h3>
ALSO RECOMMENDED:
Go to https://archive.org/details/minecraft-portable and download their original zip file, which also contains Minecraft 1.5. Be aware that their file is not entirely cleaned up, and the default skin is a NFSW one. Additionally, the worlds folder contains old worlds, and the settings are weird.
If your computer can run singleplayer smoothly, it can likely run a server for friends to join.
MY CHANGES:
I omitted the 1.5 version and only kept 1.14.4. Additionally, I set the graphics settings and keybinds to my own. I also deleted all the worlds. To change your keybinds in game, go to the settings button on the main menu.
- Open a singleplayer world, press `Esc`, and click `Open to LAN` (Good for friends to explore your world);
- Or using a dedicated server which runs independently of your game client.
- `Start Server (Console).bat` to run it in a command prompt window, or
- `Start Server (GUI).bat` to run it in an interface that tracks joined players and resource usage.
For friends to join the dedicated server, make sure they know your local IP address (e.g. `192.168.1.XX`) and the port.
<h3>Credits</h3>
The original author is <b>QuestTreck</b>, and I found this file on the Internet Archive.

This is a "cleaned" version of the original. I deleted custom settings, removed third-party saved worlds, and replaced suspicious skins with a standard one.
It is unlikely (and I have ran this on multiple computers without bugs), but the original author mentioned that if you are having `missing .dll` errors, open the `_Redist` folder and run `dxwebsetup`.
Java is bundled inside the zip, so you don't have to install it.
